EASTERN CARIBBEAN OUTLOOK
Today: The Atlantic high pressure system will remain the dominant feature across Barbados and the Windward islands. As a result, fair to occasionally cloudy skies, and a few early morning scattered showers can be expected. In addition, some breezy conditions will persist as the pressure gradient continues to tighten. A layer of Saharan dust will prevail over the region allowing for a reduction of horizontal visibility. While over the Leewards a mid to upper level trough which is likely to be enhanced by an upper level jet will trigger a few occasional showers over the area.
