A tropical wave is approaching the region to affect Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Friday and Saturday.

Instability ahead of the wave will result in some moderate showers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines from tonight into tomorrow morning. The axis of the wave will pass over SVG around Friday evening, and then instability behind of the wave coupled with favourable upper level conditions will generate moderate to heavy showers and possible isolated thunderstorms, across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

ENE-ESE winds at 20km/h to 35km/h are anticipated on Friday, blowing predominantly from the ENE-E at 20km/h to 30km/h around Saturday.

Moderate sea conditions, with swells peaking to 1.5m on the western coasts and 2.0m on the eastern coasts are forecast with generally slight conditions (1.0m-1.2m) returning from late Saturday into Sunday on both the western and eastern coasts.
